Well no pictures today. This was just "pounding" out the miles to get back to Richmond to make sure we got there in time for our scheduled Monday morning maintenance at Steel Horse HD shop. We started out in Newburgh under clear blue skies with the sun just coming up and at our backs as we headed west and south. Beautiful warm morning and almost no traffic on the interstates since it was a Sunday morning. Over around Harrisburg the skies got very cloudy fast and we started having a few sprinkles. Never did rain on us and the clouds keep the temps down to a very comfortable motorcycle ride. Our only stops were for gas and quick restroom breaks. No traffic tie ups anywhere. We did see in the north bound lanes near Wilkes-Barre, PA a large RV completely burned out. It was still smoking as we went by and the north bound lanes were tied up. Just hope nobody was injured, but it was completely "gutted"!!
So far we have NOT had to put our rain suits on yet. I think that is about to change!!
